Developer DVD #19 - July 2011
A complete Firebird package: IBPhoenix is now shipping its nineteenth Developer DVD.
The Developer DVD contain's 11 new chapters and 7 appendices for the new Firebird Book (Second Edition), as well as binaries for all the latest builds and installs for Firebird (1.0.x, 1.5.x, 2.0.x. 2.1.x and 2.5) plus all the other Firebird related software. The DVD also contains other documentation, drivers, tools, and source code. Also included on the DVD is an application that allows a user to browse and search their own copy of the Firebird support and developer archive lists.

and now the electronic Firebird 2 Supplement for the Firebird Book is available directly from IBPhoenix. It covers the updates from Firebird V1.5 to Firebird V2.1. If you bought your copy of The Firebird Book directly from IBPhoenix, the Supplement is free. This supplement will constinue to be available until the Firebird Book (Second Edition) is complete.

Update: July 2011: "The Firebird Book (Second Edition)" which will be a rewrite of the original book and also bring our existing content up to date for Firebird V2.5 has started to arrive! The first collection of chapters is now available on the latest issue of the IBPhoenix Developer DVD.
